Here are some highlights from my second project at Brickland!
This time, we dove into Maya and V-Ray. Transitioning from Blender to Maya was challenging, but the learning curve was incredibly rewarding.
We started with art direction premade for us and expanded upon it with our own creative vision and built our scenes accordingly. Unlike our first project, this one focused largely on detail shots and close-ups.

The model I received was missing a few components that required remodeling, but there were no significant issues with it beyond that.
I had some trouble getting V-Ray to displace for some reason. So my plan of adding edge debris on the side of the road didn't pan out so I had to use photoshop Generative fill to add that detail in.
I rendered these images in EXR format with Cryptomatte and used photoshop to remove some fireflies and bad light reflections.
